Dear Sir,

Some instances have come to our notice ,where in breake boosters of
M/S Sundaram Clyton were replaced for the compaint of poor breaking.
These were sent to original supplier by QC.
They have given a clear report that most of them were found ok.

The boosters were replaced in field on FOC basis and claimed with us & the reason given was that of vacuum leakage.
Where as during testing at manufacturers end no such defect was found.
The supplier has pointed out that the compalint of vacuum leakage can occur due to extraneous reason like leak in vacuum pipe etc.

We are therefore enclosing a sequence of troubling shooting for ruling out.the complaints of break weak which explains various steps before it is concluded that booster is defective .Please inform this to all connected in your establishment.
So that boosters are not replaced for some other defect through they are ok.
